Heart Rate Lab

During this time, hearts are popping up everywhere. Let's use this to educate students on the functions of the human heart. This can be done by reviewing the cardiovascular (circulatory) system or a heart rate lab. The lab can include measuring students'

heart rate before and after challenges. This shows the effect that movement or no movement has on the heart.

Seasonal Decoders: A Fun Learning Tool

If you didn't know, decoders are quite popular in my teaching toolkit right now. I first discovered their charm while creating this decoder. The beautiful templates and game-like aspect make them enjoyable. They are easy to create, utilizing key terms or answers to questions.

You can design a decoder by entering the number of boxes based on the answer. The decoder sheet will guide students on what symbol represents each letter. Black History Fact Pack

This one of a kind Black History resource can be used for a variety of purposes and has modern aesthetics.

It includes:

Themed Cards

Of course, the traditional activity would be included. Students could create cards with medical references and exchange them amongst each other.
