Do you want to surprise students with some Christmas activities, but don't know where to start? Keep reading!
Christmas CPR - This activity is super easy. Teachers just have to teach students how to perform CPR to the beat of "Jingle Bells" or another festive tune (as long as the song aligns).
What's needed:
Song
2. Santa Anatomy - In order to complete this, the class must do a Christmas-themed anatomy lesson where they identify different parts of Santa Claus' body and how they function. Think of it as a spin off of the game Operation!
This can be done digitally via a site like Canva, but it's definitely more fun on paper!
What's needed:
Laptop
Poster board (optional)
Coloring supplies (optional)
Sticky notes (optional)
3. Christmas Party Emergency (First Aid Game) - This game requires students to help Jessica, Nala, and the rest of the friends figure out what first aid condition they're experiencing, protocols to use, and prevention tips. It includes 7 Christmas party emergencies, including: minor cuts, fractures, burns, choking, nosebleeds, sprains, and anaphylaxis. A review sheet with key terms/definitions and an answer key is included.

4. Christmas Food Project - This project lead students to research and present on the health benefits of various Christmas foods, such as cranberries or gingerbread. This can be completed digitally or hand made.
What's needed:
Laptop
Poster board (optional)
Coloring supplies (optional)
5. Self-care Plan - Teach students about the importance of self-care during the busy holiday season and have them create a self-care plan.
What's needed:
Laptop
